Massinger Dam, situated near Massinger Village, Mozambique is a 46m high Rock-Fill Clay-Core (RFCC) dam with a 4,595m crest length.
Dam construction started in 1971 but was halted due to the Mozambique civil war. Refurbishment started in 4004 and was completed in 2006. The Dam surface area is 150km² with a potential capacity of 2.800 million m³. Massinger Dam Instrumentation consists of the following:
